Brand new play! Female Nude Seated by Carolyn Gage

It’s a student rooming house, 1917, London. Two lesbian art students are having a midnight meeting to talk about their professor Walter Sickert, and the possibility that he may be Jack the Ripper. Brandy is flowing and so are the secrets. The relationship heats up when one of the women offers to pose for her portrait as a “female nude, seated.” And, yes, it’s historical. Mainie Jellett and Evie Hone, lesbian life partners, end up revolutionizing art in Ireland. This play is about the Night It All Started.

So come and hear Carolyn Gage reading her new play… and be part of the conversation!

This is an amazing opportunity to experience Carolyn’s work in an intimate setting.
